Italian Panettone

This is an Italian-style poundcake that is absolutely delicious with coffee or tea. It's not too sweet, so it is very versatile to use for other recipes as well.


Recipe:

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups of white sugar

  • 6 eggs

  • 3 cups of flour

  • 1 cup of milk

  • 3 teaspoons of baking powder

  • 1 cup of canola oil

  • flavoring of choice was (HIGHLY recommend vanilla or zest & juice of a citrus (ex: lemon or orange)


Steps:

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine all the ingredients by mixing with an egg beater.

  2. Spray bundt pan with cooking spray, and add cake batter.

  3. Bake at 375 degrees for 45+ minutes.
