(An Actually Good) Tuna Noodle Casserole

I know what your thinking..."Sabrina, tuna noodle casserole is hands down the nastiest food on the planet."

I would like to think I figured out the best recipe for tuna noodle casserole that is actually tasty and delicious. Now, I'm a major tuna fan - but even then I added some unique flair to this American dish in order to make it a house favorite.

Recipe:

Ingredients:

  • 1 package of wavy noodles (egg)

  • 1 can of cream of mushroom soup

  • Splash of milk of choice

  • Cheddar Cheese

  • Panko bread crumbs

  • Frenchie's Fried Onion Pieces (aka what you use to make Green Bean Casserole)

  • Salt, Pepper, Parsley Flakes, or Fresh

  • Frozen Peas

  • 2 Cans of Tuna in water flaked.

Steps:

  1. Cook the pasta in a pot of boiling water until al dente, drain, and set aside in a large bowl (you're going to be mixing everything in this bowl later).

  2. Set the oven until 425 degrees Fahrenheit, and spray a baking pan/casserole dish with cooking spray.

  3. Add the noodles to the big bowl, along with the cream of mushroom soup, milk, cheese, peas, flaked tuna, and season/spices.

  4. Mix and then add to the baking dish.

  5. Top the pan with more cheddar cheese, panko breadcrumbs, and then Frenchie's onions.

  6. Bake for 15-20 Minutes until Golden.
