Tomato Galette

This tomato galette is the easiest thing to make, and tastes exactly like summer. It would be the perfect item to make for a brunch or light dinner.


Recipe:

Ingredients:

  • Tomatoes

  • Ricotta Cheese (1 lb)

  • Parmesan Cheese

  • Extra Virgin Olive Oil

  • Pepper, Salt, and Oregano

  • Fresh Basil (chopped)

  • 1 Pie Crust Sheet


Steps:

  1. In a pie dish, place 1 pie sheet into the pan.

  2. Turn on your oven to the designated baking time based off your pie crust purchased.

  3. Place all your ricotta cheese into the pie dish and make a thick, even layer.

  4. Add thick slices of tomatoes to the top of the ricotta cheese.

  5. Add your fresh basil, a drizzle of olive oil, and seasons.

  6. Fold in the excess pie crust to make a lip by tucking inwards.

  7. Bake in the oven for 30-35 minutes

  8. Once done baking, take out of the oven to cool for 10+ minutes and sprinkle parmesan cheese to serve.
